<div class="IPBDescription">and UI usability design in general</div>It is difficult to passively see your total stamina as an alien in NS2.
In NS1's design, the stamina bar was able to be constantly in your peripheral vision, allowing you to focus on the action while keeping tabs on how much stamina you had to work with.
The UI needs to be focused more in the direction of usability rather than graphic appeal. The evolution menu's choices such as Carapace are so extremely small, which takes time to click on (see Fitt's law) and time to mentally distinguish.
