Some sort of feedback on damage from spore

One thing that is discouraging when playing lerk is the lack of damage feedback when sporing marines. This is particularly the case when you're not getting kills from it - it makes it feel like your spores are having absolutely no effect.

    I've had spore kills... but I thought you had to be looking at the target to see the damage counter?

    I really like the idea of hitsounds such as a bell or something (yes similar to team fortress 2) in addition to the visual cue.

    Don't the marines cough? Turrets start making their "I'm confused" sounds.

    Don't implement the TF2 dinging thing...
    Years of playing pyro or heavy have probably damaged my hearing already... :O

    Make the coughs more audible, but not too audible. Sure, you need feedback and all, but you don't deserve to know who is taking damage 100 meters away.

    you get red hitmarkers when using a custom crosshair shouldn't be to hard to implement it as part of the stock crosshairs, coughing could be a tad louder. Then again they need to add more channels so sounds stop cutting out
