Mac spam?

in NS2 General Discussion
Just a quick question... how many macs were marines limited to, if limited at all, in previous builds? And in this build, is it unlimited now?

    Can someone confirm this? I was just in a vanilla server where the comm spammed about 20 of them... Haven't seen that in a while...

    It was 5 per command chair in the last build, I don't think it changed.

    Per command chair might make sense...hmm... Just haven't lost to two exo's soloin' things with a tail of mac's in a long time...hah.

    I've heard that you can exceed the cap by one per robotics factory, not sure what the exact exploit is or even if it's unintended.

    Ahhhh the good ole days where a good marine turtle was god like, so the alien commander would build 200+ drifters lag the game for players but the drifters wouldn't and kill the CS.
