It was really eerie actually. . .
Not the fight, but the moments just before
I had the team line up and make a distraction while I cysted in and misted the shifts
All the skulks died, but then 30 eggs appeared
I can image that in that moment that time must have slowed down for the Marine team
None of them moved. . . just the sound of a few reloading guns to accompany the warm, soothing gestation

I actually left that game because the team stacking was so bad.
Looks like you already owned most of the map though :| Again, this is a problem with some of these chamber upgrades. If only you could risk this early game! Which is why I thinkshift should allow certain structures to generate their own infestation.

i mean you could have put a bunch of whips near the IP's or anything, right?
if marines allow cysts to enter their base then their team is massively inferior.

We had already won the first game using 3 Shift Play so game two everyone should of been ready for it

This is clearly possible and fun for publics where people have little idea what they are doing, but I think you will find this more and more difficult as time passes.

How exactly? When you cannot get within an entire room of the marine team's base it is simply not possible to initiate the strategy. I think you are underestimating how terrible the teams you play against in publics are, this is really cool and I would love to see it sometime but player ability improving will prevent this eventually in publics (with the current game balance).
I bet the marines we shooting eggs and not the shifts yeah?
Calling wildly for nerfs because you use crazy strats in pubs vs baddies is what needs to be nerfed.
This isn't new. . . I've done the same strat with 5-6 Infantry Portals and rushing a Phase gate inside or next to a hive
You can't cover stuff like summit reception and it's just an endless flood of marines after that

It's not OP. It's the fault of the Marines.
As far as I can see, you can't fix "stupidity."
Let's see, how should we win? Drifter rush? Whip echo? Hallucinations? A not-so-clear example of "how can I troll this already won alien game the best." Oh, shifts it is.
I've actually been extremely appalled at how many marine teams will just let me infest right into their base as alien com, or right outside of it. It only shows people don't quite understand how the game works yet, or aliens have won already.
By the way, phase gate next door to a hive has kinda the same effect on aliens. You should probably make a few videos about that...
