So we're going to let <b>YOU</b>, the viewer, choose which of the following five awesome NS2 custom maps will be played. The maps are

    Icarus seems to be the furthest along in terms of completion, particularly texturing, and it seems like Tanith has been dropped by the mapper.

    Icarus, triad, and turtle are all more or less "finished" (i.e. no grey box), while plant and tanith still has some unfinished sections. All the maps are playable enough to do so in a comp match, though.

    Hehe, cute but "better map by design" doesn't work in this case, since we are talking about NS2. And if it is being designed as the original, there's bound to be some issues with it just like veil, which required some redesigns and even with those it still has issues. Of course Flaterectomy needs all the feedback he can get and some servers should be running it so he can get this valuable feedback. From what I've seen, the grey boxed areas are just a tad bit to big compared to the original.

    The recent updates to the map look promising, but I'd prefer to see it more completed/less greyboxed before we showcase it. Spectating a greyboxed map can be boring and the lack of color distinction between the floors/walls makes commanding difficult. For comp testing of the map, a gather would be a better format atm.

    I disagree. eclipse, which is also mostly grayboxed, plays fine. Mostly fine, anyway.
