<div class="IPBDescription">Proximity fuses</div>So, one of the things that REALLY irritates me about the GL's is that they bounce off stupid teammates who run in front of GL marines who are firing them. Bounce... and right back in my face... Boom!
Why not make them have to leave a certain proximity to the shooter (based on original position when fired) before going off?
Actual grenade launchers work this way, add it to the game and leave grenade launchers as deadly as they are now... less chance of marines grenading themselves due to stupid teammates, and aliens get the advantage of GLs being slightly less able to defend themselves up close.

So you have more of an aim shot, rather than just spam
All the Unreal Tournament rocket launchers do that. Even the alt-fire "grenade" setting. So did Turok, if I remember right.
I don't agree with the ideas in any way, just providing examples.
