Microphone Not Working in NS2, but Works Everywhere Else

The problem I'm running into is that my microphone (Logitech G35 USB headset) will not transmit in game. I've verified that it does work in any other game/program I throw at it, and I have confirmed that sound is being captured in Steam VOIP options. For a very brief period last week, I was able to use the mic, but that was only when I changed the key binding to PageDown instead of Backslash (I play left-handed). Since then, I've tried various keys and mouse buttons (Right Bracket, Home, and Mouse4) to no avail. I show up as trying to transmit, but no sound is going through.

Thanks in advance for your time!

if you are using win 7/8 you need to set your usb mic as default recording device (communication device is not enough) that helped with my not working mic

Same issue. From my research it seems USB mics don't work. If you have a nonusb mic try that and see if that works.

I sadly only have a USB mic, it should work in the game but it just isn't. Have yet to figure out why.

It must be certain usb web cams then. Tell me, can you alter the dB level of your USB Mic?
