How do you specify which graphics card to run the game on?

I heard people say you should specify which graphics card to run the game on but I havn't figured out how. I am running windows 7.

Under "display adapters" in the control panel I see
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470
Intel® HD Graphics

Any one know how I can specify specifically which card setting the game is forced to run on? The card seems to have a "high performance" setting and "power saver" setting.

Ah.. you are using a laptop :)
Yes set everything to high performance, and then run ns2, and as soon as the main menu pops up hit the console (~ key) and ensure that "Rendering device" says its your ati card, and NOT intel HD graphics.

Thank you sir! Visual confirmation on which card it's running on is also what I was looking for.

BTw that mapping bug you asked me to provide repro steps for (stuck in the ready room on mineshaft) has been fixed. I tried pming you but your inbox said it was 100% full so I got just got ahold of some one else. :)

And yes I'm on a laptop that is below all the min specs but hey...i try. On release I was able to get 40 fps outside of combat and 20 in heavy combat (or more)..but the last few patches rendered the game really unplayable for me so I'm trying to figure if it I did somthing on my end or not. Since I wasn't aware of the details between which mode you can put your laptop in affects processor speeds and things I suspect the issue is on my end. Hopefully this solves my problem.

My inbox has just been emptied as asked for more space for messages due to the tech support i've been providing lately :-P

Those steps above will give you "visual confirmation on which card its running" ??
Your specs above only mentioned one dedicated graphics card, and then the integrated graphics card on the motherboard. Those steps above will show you which the game is using.
