Battle Comm Gorge?

I have been playing with a new strat lately. Feel free to chime in if some of my assumptions are wrong.
I first spread out cysts and get res nodes and add a second hive. While I am waiting for the hive to be built and the old have to research an ability I jump out and change to a gorge.
I drop some hydras to help stop any ninjas who want to kill my upgrades. I then jump back in and continue to play. At a point in the last game I played we had 200 res, all upgrades all the res nodes we could get and only two hives. I would then jump out and coordinate attacks on various bases. We took out there main with two gorges and a fade, until the marines cavalry arrived. They were rebuilding then we hit server room took it out. I rushed to the hive dropped another hive in server room then capped some res nodes. I then jumped out and lead another attack as a gorge against there various bases. By this time they had heavies. We only had one onos at that time and while the heavies were trying to push operations? we would hit ware house again take out some structures and get them to beacon taking their support away from the heavies. When they beacon we left and hit repair room and started to hit that. For the most part I think the skulks and fades took out the heavies as we kept pulling their support/welders away from the base. When the next hive was built we dropped some onos eggs got the rest of the good upgrades. By that time we destroyed and capped warehouse. I dropped a healing forward base to heal the onos in ore processing. Went back to battle as they were trying to push logistics. The only problem I encounter is someone jumped into the comm chair and I did I don't what with it for the last 5 mins of the game as we killed their last base repair.
I do have a couple of assumptions:
1) You still get tres w/o a comm
2) If you have 200 tres, then anything extra is given to the team.
3) Ignoring heavy train if you don't have any onos and get them to beacon their support away. Before you nip them to death.
4) As komm can't drop health or ammo it makes more sense to gorge to bomb and heal an attack.
It was a good game and it felt like we really had a good come back as they had more res nodes and 3 tech points mid game. The only bad thing I noticed was not many people save up and go onos anymore, most people will lerk or fade their res away. Also first onos we had got stuck where he gestated. :(

I did have a forward base in the middle of the map so people could quickly get health. Bone wall seems a good way to save onos, though I think a gorge healing is a better option. Though I should play with blowing up those invis scout things.
Spam cysts into a marine base. If the marines shoot the cysts, then your aliens have less bullets to worry about hitting them. If they let the cysts creep uncontested, shift echo to spawn numerous whips into their base. If you have one or two onii, you can definitely have a distraction so that you can quickly spawn cysts/whips. Battle gorge/Comm is great, but I only tend to do it when we're lacking in res.
