Marine/Alien hitbox's?

im sure its a bug but for more professional games its completely awful having a face off with an enemy and running right through their models, as skulk it makes bite timing extremely hard because of biting on collide when against a good marine(or even an average marine that strafes left and right). all through NS1 iv been used to trapping marines to make them unable to circle strafe you or bait you while in bite range. for a while(about 4 patches ago) it seemed to have been fixed except for when fading, now its like all players are ghosts that you can just pass through, it may be that the hitbox's are smaller than the model or laggy models or something but even in 1m wide gaps people are running right through me like im not there. along with the nerfed wall jump, playing marine is far easier than playing skulk which the skill level seems to be redundant. it works fine against exo i can "feel" their model when i move around them, but non-exo marines are like moving around a wet paper bag.
