<div class="IPBDescription">Curious, can i stop it happening now?</div>Or would i just have to wait for the devs' to review the crash report and fix the bug?
How many other people are getting this?

I get CTDs all the time, but I know it is because most of my hardware is faulty so it is not just NS2. Wont be able to fix it till next year sadly.
You might have the same problem, although unlikely.

    Did you check the <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/index.php?showtopic=111496" target="_blank"> Trouble Shooting thread </a> and the <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/index.php?showtopic=122598" target="_blank">Known Issues</a> yet?

Yes i've looked through those. I should edit the title, it's not a CTD i'm just very tired atm and wrote it without realising.

I get to play for 1/2 an hour or so, maybe mroe before it crashes. I ctrl+alt+delete a few times, cancel and the Bug Send box is showing up.

Does this also happen to other games as well or just NS2?
    Are you using a laptop?
What graphics card do you have?

    Just NS2.

    Kingston hyperx 2100mhtz ram 8gb 9-9-9-24 timings
    gtx460 @ stock clocks
Vertex3 SSD 120gb for games, ns2 is on it
Seagate 2tb hdd for windows/some storage

Im afraid I wont be able to help you, maybe you can contact the dev team <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/index.php?showtopic=117005" target="_blank">here</a> seems kinda outdated but worth a shot.

Getting the minidump from these crashes would help. Just click "details" when the popop of "NS2.exe has stopped responding, wait for the program or close?" dialog appears.

Nice rig... i also run into this issue occasionally. from 30 minutes to an hour and half.. depends. Methinks it has something to do with overclocking as thats our commonality :)

oooo that doesn't bode well. I hope it's not the OC, because anything under 4ghtz CPU bottlenecks this game...
I've sent the minidumps in with the reports, is there a way to retreive them off hdd if they're saved to hdd?

Played for several hours today, 3-5 straight. Hasn't crashed on me once.

i get this frequently since the latest patch.

no crashes in ~80 hours, but in the last few days i've had about 5 crashes. (game freeze with sound on loop, need to ctrl+alt+del)

the last time it was when i was turning into a fade, the egg gestated to 99% and then *crash* with the egg sound loop.
