I wouldn't mind taking a crack at designing a spray for you (I've got plenty of free time and I'm fairly good with Photoshop and Wally). One problem tho; Your sig doesn't show up, just the little red "X" thing.

Heres the spray I use currently, but I'm going to change it soon 'cause I've had it for a while.

Yea, I had tried making it show a few times, but then even the red "X" disappeared. But I can see your sig and avatar now, but I couldn't see them on your other post. Interesting... Ok, so I'll take a crack at makin a spray.
So you want your name made out of the infest bacteria? Or you want the bacteria around your name, similar to your sig now?

If you're trying to make parts of your spray transparent (the 255 Blue parts), you have to save it as a *.bmp anyway. If you save it as a *.jpg or anything else, it wont be transparent when you run it thru Wally/other decal program to convert it to the pldecal.wad.
You can't convert anything other than bmp.s anyway

Been workin on this spray for a little while, and its been an interesting experience. After every time I modify the spray a bit, I would go into a game to test it to see how good/bad it looks. Every time I would find something to tweak, some little thing here or there to change, and I've learned a great deal about making a texture look more realistic/better by using the different tools in Photoshop more often.
Anyway, I've come down to two sprays, both of which I have one or two things that I don't like about them, but I need a second opinion to decide on what should be done to improve them. And remember that the blue in the background is transparent (invisible) when it has been sprayed. This is the basic form of the spray (the size is much greater than it really is, I had to increase its size from 144pixels by 64 pixels to about 4 times that size to make it visible). Its got an interesting effect from a distance; you can't see that its a word (or name in this case), even though it sticks out from the normal infest bacteria a bit more. But the problem with this one is that even up close it takes a moment to read what it says, even after I spaced out the letters a bit.
This one is the same spray with a black border. The upside to the border is that its more noticeable up close, and actually makes it look sorta like comic book text. The downside though, is that from a distance its easier to tell that its a spray, and the borders between the letters seems to interrupt the flow of the texture.
So if you could give me your opinion, SinSpawn (since this will be going to you) on what you want modified, it would be beneficial to both of us. But I dont mind accepting advice from other members from the forums as well, the more the merrier.

Hmm, they both look good, could you send the spray files so i can test them? I'm not really bothered if it can be seen as a spray from a distance, but could you get the colour as close as you can to match the bacteria?
the first spray, I'm worried as I play kharaa most the time, If i spray it on the actual NS bacteria will it not be visible, and the second spray, although it has a border to It does make the letters abit too squished, so I'd say spread the letters alittle bit apart when applying the border so it looks like spray 1, letters with space.
Also I'd also like to hear other members opinion, I always have bad judgement
