<div class="IPBDescription">New bug?</div> I was just playing on "Coronas in Space", 30 player server, as Kharaa. Somehow, I have NO idea how, we managed to bring all three hives up within five minutes. Onos against LMG/Unupgraded marines was a bit funny, but also quite unfair. Has anyone else seen similar incidents? Someone mentioned that this was a "1.02 bug". I didn't see people popping in and out of the readyroom, so I don't think it was that exploit.

Sounds like, if anything, the server found a way to imbalance the resources.
Even with the readyroom exploit it takes somewhere around 2 minutes to build a hive once you have the resources. Sounds impossible.

That rdy room exploit is really beginning to tick me off. 3 servers in a row tonite had the Khaara using it. Not only that but there was always some one teaching everyone else the exploit. It made playing Khaara less fun and Im sure it certainly made Marines even more difficult.

IF there was 30 people on it doesnt the resorces change to make it so everyone gets the same resorces are when there is 10 players?

Ugh, the infamous ready room exploit. I'll tell you a short story, bear with me.

Once upon a time, I joined a server and went alien to have a little bitegun fun. The alien team had three people in the same squad/clan (not a particularly big surprise, we all like playing with our friends) who were jabbering. However, the first comment was an extreme turn off, one of the squad members kept harassing the rest of his team to "recycle resources", elegantly put but still an exploit. When several refused he got immediately abusive over voicecom and had his buddies join in. I was very disappointed and irritated by this style of play - not to mention blatant abuse - I tried reasoning with them and was shot down in a minute or so not without my personal gift box of profanity. In the end I simply shook my head and found a new server.

Now what is so detrimental to winning that you need to exploit confirmed bugs? I treat NS like a game, win or lose. Of course I like winning, but at the expense of other people's fun because I found a little "trick" to give an unfair advantage? Raining on other people's parades is not what multiplayer gaming is about. Competing to be the best, yes, but having fun I should think is top priority. Think of other players and how you would feel if someone cheated while you were playing fairly. If you want to "recycle resources", fine by me (as I gather, that exploit will be removed soon anyways), but don't expect me to take your abuse if I don't do what you say. I'm just fed up with this exploit.

First off, TiberionElite does not condone the hacking and he does not tweak the game at all.

Second, it's quite easy to get three hives if the marines are retarded. Usually aliens will check from time to time, if the other hives are still open. Some guys said, "Hey, both hives are clear." And the aliens already had like 3 or 4 resource towers, it should be pretty easy to get two hives up at the same time if the gorges save up and don't use rps.

I've done the same thing on the same server(and other ones to boot), and sadly, there is the exploit and that's probably how it happened.. a few skulks waited till 33rps then F4.. then aliens. *sigh*
