Personally, I don't think anyone's going to be able to tell you definitively as for me and a couple of others at least the performance has changed from build to build. Look at a few threads, I myself went from 2*4890 to 1*4890 to 1*6870 and the performance has stayed the same due to the current build which seems to like cpu over gpu.
So if you've got the cash and wanted to upgrade go for it but not just for one game that's still evolving, give them a little time to get a few more builds out :)

your graphics card is fine. NS2 is mainly CPU limited. Overclocking will help.
