Gorge Mist on Structures

Quick question...does the gorge mist continue to speed up the building of a hive after the hive is fully armored?

For other structures like a harvester that "green vein" effect still displays when misting while the object is being built even after the object is fully armored, but for the hive once you have fully armored it but it is still building that "green vein" effect is no longer displayed. Also gorge mist on a hive doesn't really seem to noticeably speed up building whereas with a harvester you can certainly notice the build speed increased when misting.

I think it's only the effect falling away. I checked it once, the time difference between two percents of "done"-ness, and it was definitely faster with gorge spray. c:
