exo-suits and weapon upgrades

<div class="IPBDescription">do they work together</div>I have noticed that acording to damage numbers exo miniguns always do 25 damage per shot, and the claw is always 50 (100 to structures) regarless of weapon upgrade level
So I am wondering if this is a bug with damage numbers not showing the updated values, a but where weapon upgrades dont apply to exo suits, or if it is an intended part of exo-suit balance? Or am I just being oddly unobservant and only noticing damage at w3 (which would put base damage at 19, on odd value for damage)

Mmm, that's interesting, because Armor Upgrades definitely do. I didn't know this :P
Its intended.
This is why rushing exos is a legitimate strategy. If half your team is in a suit, and the other half has welders, who needs useless weapon upgrades right? Even more so with the recent armor changes. You basically don't even need more than level 1 or 2 armor for them either.
