Changed the range of view to create huge maps

Hi,

I think I found a way to create where you can see everything for a long distance.
Its really simple, just change the value of <i><b>kMaxRelevancyDistance </b></i>in <i><b>Globals.lua</b></i> to 500
and you will see everything!!!!

I think we need a sniper gun :-)

I will include that as entity, too, so mappers can set the distance they like
(P.S., this is double post with my mod, don't delete this pls, this is to give the other modders the opportunity to change the view)

    So if I drop this entity in my outdoor map, I can make it so that players don't disappear when they are far apart anymore?? :D

    I was hoping someone would find that value for me so I wouldn't have to find it myself! :D

    I've made a short gif (~5mb) where you can what happens, when you change the distance.
    It's all time the same map, first pic ist with starting distance (40), on every pic I increased the distance per 10.
    Last pic is about 120.

    Was easier to show it with doors but that will happen with every entity.

    Wont this break performance? I was under the impression even ns1 length corridors severely lower FPS in spark. From my feeble understanding, this is why occlusion geometry is manual - to squeeze out extra FPS and make mappers mindful of not rendering too much at once. Perhaps ive got the wrong impression?

    Also, i cant see the picture JimWest, your image host doesnt allow leeching.

    Good work finding this, i asked them about draw distance ages ago, i only need a slight increase currently to avoid pop in near the hive.
