I don't think there's need for new alien forms. Those already in the mod are enough. Skulks as base "troop" and cannon fodder. Gorges, the tireless build/repair/healing unit. Lerks, scouts and support (umbra rocks!). Fades, main way to take out fortifications at distance or keeping marines frightened. And of course, Onos... just a legged horror...
So tell me... do you really think there's lacking of "monsters"?
And talking about flamethrowers... I hope that if they put one of those ingame, it doesn't lags too much... HL engine is old (but reliable), and doubt it could handle many flamethrower style weapons.
