once you activate it you run towards the enemie and just keep touching them. It should kill them almost instantly if they are light armor. Its not very effective versus buildings but to use it crouch down and keep running into the building (hold forward against it).
You select it as your weapon press the button once and no more (the attack button that is) then you have to run into the object you want to kill. The key thing is you have to keep moving into like your walking into a wall. Also for killing buildings it is help full to duck so you don't go so fast.
You press your attack key once and you basically go ramming speed into something, most Marines will die instantaneously if you couple a Primal Scream with said Charge.

ok, i tried in in a lan against some buildings and it didn't seem to do any damage at all (firing + walking into). i'll try crouching and see what happens
Any, crouch and hold forward on structures while charging to damage them. However, using the primal scream, waiting for your energy to come back with adrenaline, then goring deals damage faster.
Charge + duck is the ONLY proper way for an Onos to kill a structure.
This is how I take out the usual T. Factory + 4 turrets outpost. If there aren't any marines there, just charge in and duck as soon as you hit the turret factory. Keep duck+charging into it and watch the health circle go from green->yellow->red extremely fast.
Make sure your energy bar is dropping, which shows that you are activly charging. If your energy is going up instead, that means that you aren't charging, so give it another click to get it going again.
Against light marines, just charge and ram them with your tusks. Against heavy armor, take care because a HMG at close range can rip apart even an Onos. Probably better to experiment and see how well your heavy armor enemy can dodge your charge.
Seriously, I've had about five people IRL ask me stupid questions, to which the only answer is "read the manual". Things like "What's evolving" and "How come people always yell at me when I get to the cc first" and "How do I build". Fnaaaarr.
Really... Is it that hard for people just to look through the manual for an answer? If the question seems like it must have an obvious answer, just check the manual first. It's probably covered. If its not in there, then ask on the board. It saves quite a bit of time. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
