Gaming Desktop performance issues

Hello,
I'm running the game on all lowest settings and high priority(which did help a bit) but the longer the game goes on the less fps I get.. After about 5-10mins whenever I try to bite a marine it drops to about 10fps.
My specs:
Quad core q6600 2.8 ghz
4gb ddr2
Geforce 560ti
My desktop handles all my other games perfectly on high settings.
Im a big fan of ns1 and I like the game but its so damn frame laggy its unplayable :( any ideas?
