Image hosting

This may seem pretty trivial, but does anyone know of a free web-space service (similar to those provided by Tripod, Freeservers, etc etc) that actually ALLOWS the user to do image linking? I need someplace to host images that I link to as forum sigs and avatars, as well as screenshots for my maps.

    Why not make a NS-based website, for mapping or fan fiction, or the ilk, and have Readyroom host it, then sneak in your images there for hosting?

    why dont you just use geocities...?

    Because Geocities doesn't allow image hosting.

    I think geocities works the same as angelfire, and if so... you can image link, but it takes some html trickery.

    <img src="http://angelfire.com/biz5/leresistance/images/sigspyder2.txt" border="0">

    You guys are going to have to let me know if that works or not, angelfire is blocked by my firewall, so I won't know either way.

    lol humbaba, AOL crappies

    Yeah, finding a good site that allowes image hosting is so hard to find. I've tried many different hosting sites, including Geocities, tripod, and Angelfire. The reason I'm now using www.100free.com is for two reasons

    1) All the other sites are either extremely craptacular or don't allow image hosting
    2) www.100free.com provides lots of space and an EXCELLENT file browser

    anyway, go there now. I'm actually not sure if they provide image hosting, go check. If not

    [EDIT]WARNING! www.100free.com is NOT to be confused with www.free100.com !!! [/EDIT]

    He renamed the file to have a .txt extension so it wasn't blocked by angelfire, which apparently only blocks links with a .jpg, .gif, .bmp extension.  The point is, though, the extension really doesn't matter, still the same image.  <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

    Yup, he got it right. Once I upladed the jpg, I just renamed it on the site to sigspyder2.txt and all is well. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->
