Game Crashes Instantly on Startup

Here's is the entirety of my very helpful log.txt file:

So that's not good. I reinstalled the DirectX from the NS2 redist folder and I verified my game cache. Then I deleted the game entirely and reinstalled it. Also I unsubscribed from all the mods in Steam workshop. What's going on?
edit: actually it seems like maybe I'm having issues with some other games, so I think this isn't NS2. Feel free to close this unless you want to await a report on how I fix this.
edit #2: solved it by doing a system restore to before a Windows update. Hooray.
