<div class="IPBDescription">Are OP.</div>Ok, so. Yes, you read that correctly.
Spectators see what's researched and what's not. They see progress for each research currently going. They get notifications when something is started.
Why can't teams and commanders see this information? For their said only, of course.
It's easy to forget something as a comm because there is no way to check if you got evolution or not. If something is destroyed, you have to ask for team what's missing. And those people who keep asking for jetpacks or blink when those are already 90% done.
Just press tab and see that blue/orange tab which shows what upgrades and tech we got? This could solve a lot of problems.
I really can't see the reason why spectators have this information, but it's not available to players.

Wow very nice
You might remember this guy from such innovations as the Insight Spectator mod :P
And somehow we have to be informed better when a base goes down. Commanders often don't even notice that, because 'Base is under attack' is said for everything. Don't tell me to better watch the map, in some situations you have rushes to support etc.

You should keep a better eye on your map :P
Have I ever told you that I love you? Because I do. Please marry me.

This is something that was reported and worked on for the last patch (see the changelog) but its technically still "rejected" from us play testers, as we felt it needed something more specific , intuitive, and informative for the same reasons you just mentioned.
I wouldn't worry as the report is still in there which means its still being worked on :)

Just hit your space bar/jump key if you have the time.
Even just the audio warning "Observatory is under attack", "Power node is under attack" etc would be a good start tbh! I'm beginning to win more games than I'm losing as marine comm now, though I still definitely suck, but anything to make it just a teeeeeeny bit more accessible and less heart-attack-inducingly busy would be good (I'm not an RTS player, so I need all the help I can get!).
I say that "Base is under attack", "Command station under attack" and "Resource tower is under attack" are enough (if they existed...)
