Hi all,

My friend and I just set up 4 servers, and we are wondering if there is a way to automatically direct a client to another server if one is full. We currently have the DAK ReservedSlot plugin on and it will kick a player if they do not have a valid reserved slot. I was thinking that maybe it would be possible instead of kicking the player, it instead sends them to another one of our servers. I assume it would be easy to do (just change a few lines in the reserved slot plugin, maybe?), but I don't know much about LUA scripting, and figured it would be best to ask.

    I can't imagine a feature more open and inviting to abuse. You'll end up with a server browser full of fake ghost servers that only exists to drive traffic to one or a few real ones. It has happened before, it would happen again. It's not a good idea.

    I don't see an abuse in how I describe it. It would only be used when one of our 4 servers are full. It would redirect them to the next server, unless all 4 are full.
