If you're going to change the rifle melee as an upgrade, a bayonet would be cool. Could make it a bit more responsive perhaps and change the damage type to heavy so it hurts fades, structures and onoses more. Shouldn't make it much more powerful against skulks either. The goal of upgrades should be scalability after all, not making upgraded marines even more OP against skulks.

Some player based upgrades for marines would be good. Aliens are fun because there is alot of variety in the style you play. Marines have a choice between a few weapons and that's really it. Bring on Nerve Gas I say!! :P
