<div class="IPBDescription">It works on structures!!!</div>I was playing a few marine matches and 4 out of 6 comms I played with didn't know this. I haven't commed once and that's sad, and I spend 90% of my time an alien, that's really sad. It might have been just a bad experience though...
... Anyway, just tell the regular schmoes you meet on servers and spread the word!
(If the devs put this in the tool tip, it would help alot)

I Knew that, just that a lot of players I meet don't.
Smart aliens just move on to the next ARC until the nano wears off. ARC nanoing was more useful when the ability didn't have a cooldown.
Someone bile bombing your main base and no-one nearby? drop a nano shield on the power node before hopping out to deal with it. If you succeed, you saved a beacon...if you fail, you may have bought enough time for backup, or even to respawn
Better to use on the players coming out of the PG to defend *hint *hint.
But then again, it will give more time for more players to get though or actually get there if they are far away from the nearest PG, especially if its close to dying/under heavy attack.
A shame it targets more often the PG than the player you click on :P<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Not really. Are you trying to nano marines while they've just arrived through the gate? Wait a quarter second for them to clear. If it's really a problem, pre-nano them on the other side.

Understand why you're nano'ing marines instead of the PG. Unless it's an onos, the alien(s) attacking will have to shift their attention off the PG or die. The nano'd marine will have double the durability, basically a greater chance to kill the alien(s). If there's more than 1 or 2 aliens chewing on the PG, nano'ing it won't matter anyways since knockback was removed. It's essentially a feedgate and marine streaming through will die and you lose the PG even though it's nano'd and takes longer to be destroyed.
Nano'ing the marine is most often the best thing to do.
Still doesn't stop me. Plenty of aliens just keep on biting.
Do you honestly think it's "too bad" it doesn't work on Exos?
Hence the 'smart' requirement. I don't view relying on your alien opponents to be incompetent a reliable strategy in the long term.
I'll have to try that...personally I nano the PG and spam med kits down so the marines aren't insta-gibbed when they come through
