<div class="IPBDescription">And 3-5 ARCs per Robotics Factory</div>I find it incredibly silly that Marines can spew an infinite number of ARCs out of Robotics factory and march them right into a Hive, or near it, and start firing away. It's almost impossible to defend yourself against an entire fleet of ARCs. Crags and Gorges don't stand a chance at healing a Hive when there's 6+ ARCs blasting everything.
I also believe it was suggested before, but I do like the idea of not allowing ARCs to be deployed on areas with Infestation on it. But my main suggestion is limiting the number of Robotics Factories per Command Chair, and limiting the number of ARCs per Robotics Factory.

As far as the no-deploy on infestation goes, that makes the ARC itself mostly pointless. In a lot of situations you need to drive the ARCs so close to the hive to get a shot that you'll be forced onto infestation. So marines have to clear all the cysts first and then wait 30 seconds for infestation to recede? ARCs rendered (even) more useless. As it stands, they're only good on a few maps anyways.
I would prefer a mechanic which simply discourages any more than 4 ARCs though.

Arcs don't magically spawn from the ether.
If Aliens are allowed to hit the field with a team of Onos, the game is over. If the Marine team can field armies of mechanized units, it's...not really over, since it's still possible to destroy them.
