GUIDE: Step-by-step tutorial and basic newbie build order for the Marine Commander

Please give me feedback! I want to make it the best newbie commander guide possible! I love playing in pubs but am always dismayed when i get a guy who doesn't have a clue how to command. Please spread this around so as many people as possible read it

Every match is different, so creating a comprehensive guide is near impossible...However, you've described my go-to strategy as commander in most situations, so I can't fault it. Good job! Hopefully this'll give more people the confidence to command.

One adjustment I would make is regarding not commanding without a mic. Normally, I agree, but at the moment matches are often starting with low numbers (3v4 seems to occur a lot though this should be addressed in upcoming patches). If you start the match in this situation and no one jumps for the chair, Get in! the first few minutes of a match are so important. Once you've got the initial build orders underway (extractors,armory & maybe observatory depending how long it takes players to join) Ask if anyone more suited wants to take over. This stops your team being crippled from the start whilst your all waiting for a commander.
