Onos killing through objects...

This kind of reminds me of when the flamethrower was killing through the walls.

I'm seeing, more and more, areas where Onos are able to get kills THOUGH objects, or at extensive range.

Example #1: In Summit, at Atrium hive, there is a catwalk over to the resource node. If a marine stands on TOP of the catwalk, and an Onos stands *directly* underneath (not to the side or at the edge, but directly underneath) then he can kill anything on top of it. I did it many times.

Example #2: On top of Atrium hive. This is one of the taller hives, and despite the jetpacker being on top in the dead center, I was able to kill him. How?

The two examples above are easily reproducible, and there are many other places with walls or glass where the Onos can, in many cases able to get kills through it. I'm noticing this more and more since I am attempting kills through these surfaces more and more.

On one of the combat maps, I flew up into a vent, and the onos walked underneath it killed me right through the floor. Very pro physics.

I've also experienced the opposite, especially on Refinery. Right outside marine spawn there's the little room overlooking exchange enclosed in glass. I was inside the glass and a bit of the onos clipped through the glass and I was able to shoot it for damage.

This is a known issue, no real solution as of yet. The workaround so far has been to minimize spots in maps where this will happen.

Why not just make the onos attack hitbox disappear when it hits an object until the attack is used again.

It's not a matter of just working something out just for the Onos, it's a matter of adjusting for all player models. This is something the devs are discussing to figure out how to correct it.

This reminds me of a match a few weeks back where a lone marine with a jetpack and grenade launcher was taking down containment hive solo. I was the only one to respond and was an Onos. He simply flew onto a walkway or something not realizing I could just jump and hit him through the floor. He got a little upset as the hive was at about 3% when I got him and he accused me of cheating...though (after explaining what happened) he admitted he'd have done the same thing were the roles reversed and he knew he could considering it'd save the hive
