spectator control, need help now!

OK so you press 1-3 or space bar to change views (3rd person, birds-eye, no-clip) but how the hell do you choose which person to follow in 3rd person? It always locks onto the same randomly chosen player and it doesn't tell you the player's name. WTF?

Can someone shed some light on this?

Not knowing who you spectate is really a pain in the ass.

i found out how to cycle through players, hold control and left click, but it still doesn't tell you who you're following.

There's currently no way to select or know who you're following in 3rd person.

You click to go to the next player, but you have to guess who it actually is.

Some servers are running a mod (dunno which one... the original insight mod, I suppose?) which does display the name of the person you're following.

I hope UWE adds that feature to the official codebase soon.

i'm more interested in a fix to not being able to change spectator modes if you rebind jump from spacebar.

Can you still press 1, 2, and 3 to switch between the three modes?
