Commanding isn't fun
Ok Im now after several hrs of reading this forum etc. learnt to do commanding pretty well and have some sort of knowledge about the tactics.. THEN of course there will be one ruining it all! Now here's the deal: what on EARTH can we do those players, who
1.) Demand to have HA and HMG within 3 minutes of the game
2.) Start cussing like sailors if they dont get what they want immediatly
3.) Eject the "n00b" commander
4.) Try to command and say "I can't it's too hard"
All these mentioned before were done by a single person today! Now is there ANYONE who has a help for situations like that? I dunno what to do, if I give them something, they run away and die. Then again the same thing. If I dont, you all propably know the consequenses? Is there anything to be done to morons acting like this?
P.S. I must admit I also lose my nerves if I see ppl like this and I can be a bit loudmouth myself, too...

2) Be a good marine when you're not commanding; maybe it'll rub off. (: This includes not ejecting n00b commanders; try to help them.
3) Keep your marines informed of your long- and short-term strategy - where you're heading with research, why they can't have HA/HMG right now, what you're doing for them instead, etc.
I just hate the fact that one single person has the ability to bring bad mood and hate into a fine game..
Those ppl shouldbe shot
commander and tac commander. when i am not commanding, i get a team going amoungst the troops, and go about to our waypoints and such. rambo's get pwnd. admit it
While concede that a commander who can't keep up with the needs of his team will not help, commanders don't become experienced overnight. At this point the game is still fairly new and as a rule you should give your comm a break unless he decides to go afk. If he's not answering your moans for a heal pack while you're sitting in your spawn, there's a good chance he's doing something far more important.
At the moment we have a way to boot the comm from the CC but I would LOVE if there were a fair way to both boot players (especially afks) from the game and throw whining marines into the brig for insubordination. Leave them in there muted for 1 minute...maybe give the aliens access to them.
I'll even accept FF to be temporarily enabled so i can the whiners

3.
5. Securing the hive
5.5: Health and ammo
6. Keeping a constant offencive
7. Armor upgades.

9.Weapon upgrades.
Just got outta a game playing as a Marine...Acecool was commanding and doing a pretty good job he had established a second base early on and had begun to fortify it...Serrated Spoon insisted in chasing every Alien he saw rather then building then begging for ammo/health every 10 seconds...of course he died often and returned to be lured out again. Deadswitch spammed the comm with demands of a welder until he started spamming..."I ain't doing Bleep until I get a welder" not only refusing to help but completely destroying any typed communication with welder spam...no one moved to way points/no one stuck together. I died three times building ONE turret because Serrated Spoon convinced the other 3 Marines (not counting deadswitch who was still standing around waiting for a welder, doing nothing) it was more important to secure the area by hunting out aliens rather then fortifing your second base(of course they were all screaming for health/ammo within seconds).
Needless to say the second base fell to mostly one fade and the casualties rose dramatically when they got 2 fades. Of course when our second base was destroyed and the OH no's started coming for the main base who do you think started cursing out the "Stupid @ss N00b C0mm"? The 2 who refused to listen...Serrated Spoon and Dead Switch...heh....Serrated spoon left the game but not before screaming out curses and deadswitch continued to spam even into the ready room. Of course by then it was, "I'm going Alien 'cause all the Marines are idiots"
No wonder I see all these posts on how the Aliens "Always win" and that the 2 classes are totally unbalanced....I think I will wait until after 8:00pm to play NS. I am sure the Deadswitches and Serrated Spoons of the world will have to go beddy bye.
Just point out to them, how the players who have just DONE WHAT YOU TOLD THEM TO DO, are now touting shiny HMG's & Armours, and tell them to put 2 and 2 together.
Carrot & Stick boys, in NS, it's all about the carrot.
You'll probably get some support from other players on the team that like your commanding, and of course if you are doing a decent job, you'll most likely still be in the command after the lamer has tried a votekick. If not, then the server probably sucked anyways, so say caio and head out. heh.
