Main Menu Music

No offense to whoever created the music, but does anyone else not want to listen to the music played for the main menu? I tend to spend quite long in the server browser waiting for a slot so it just becomes annoying.

I have resolved the problem by turning the music volume off in the options, but consequently can't hear in-game music, like when the hive/commander chair is being hit. Perhaps an option to turn of the main menu music would be welcomed?

I just Shift+Tab it, then alt tab to something else.

Music files stored in the *.FSB files (stream.fsb, music.fsb and minigun.fsb). You should edit *.FSB file in order to get rid of main menu music.

You can disable music via the options, the non stop buzzing sound however ..

You can buy that specific track off several sites that have the NS2 soundtrack. Here's the link to the Amazon one which is in MP3 format:

yes the buzz in the main menu makes me want to kill little cats, i hate it so much when i m trying to find a server

I want to replace it with a collection of Disney songs, Malukah, Lindsey Stirling, Rick Astley, a singing He-Man and a 15 minute loop of Rainbow Dash propelling forward to fitting music.
