<div class="IPBDescription">And where do you get them</div>There are many highly skilled mappers here (like jedisar) and I was just wondering what compiler you all use...

For the actual compilation tools you should pick up a copy of the latest version of Zoner's Half-Life Tools, which you should be able to find at the <a href="http://www.valve-erc.com" target="_blank">Valve-ERC</a>.
You also probably don't want to use WC built in Compiling interface... ZHLTs work best with a GUI or frontend. I use <a href="http://countermap.counter-strike.net/Nemesis/batch.html" target="_blank">"Batch Compiler"</a>, and have had no complaints about it thus far.
There are several other frontends out there, and I'm sure they are all great, but one I would avoid is eddi's ZHLT GUI on PHL... I tried it out, and found it very bothersome to say the least. That might just be me though...
The NSTR install also comes with Merl's modification of Zoners Tools, which are extremely useful as they provide a way to remove faces from the world (Using the NULL texture) this helping reduce r_speeds. They also lower clipnode useage somewhat.
Plus, I think there are some weird things that Flayra or someone did to the tools in the NSTR that make them the ONLY ones that will work for an NS map. I might be wrong though.
I tried to find that the other day for someone, and it seems to have disappeared completely from the web. Anyone know if there's still a working link to it somewhere? If not, I still have the install files if someone wants to host them.
