Hello, I tried to play ns2 after being away for quite awhile.
When loading into a server it took some time, I thought this might be because it had re re-cache textures or something so it didn't bother me.
But then the game minimized and AVG detected ns2.exe as a virus, and removed it. I hardly think ns2 actually is a virus but something caused this false positive so maybe it's something to look into?

now I'm gonna start the repair =)

edit: not sure if you need it, but I attached my ns2.exe
NS2.rar 257.9K

AVG is known for causing loads of false positives, time for a better virus scanner ;)

Just to make sure its not a virus, scan it with another virus scanner in any case

When I saw the virus alert my first thought was: "oh, I have AVG installed". can't remember when or why I installed it =)
I usually have other programs, but I thought I should report it anyway.
Maybe there is something that can be done different by NS2 to not generate these false positives, or maybe it's all in the hands of AVG, no clue there.
