<div class="IPBDescription">Human or Kharaa need MORE Teamwork?</div> that's toughie,but i'd have to say the humans do. cuz a lone skulk can go about killing marines left right and center and still benefit the team even though he's not part of an over all strat.

a marine does that, and that's one less gun to defend the rez point, one less pair of eyes to spot skulks, one more marine to give med packs to.

your ideas??

    Human.. Kharaa is always winning because of good players working as a team.. marines dotn seem to work well

    Maybe dev, although it was a good gesture to get people in, <b>shouldn't</b> have wrote "If you're new, play as Marines first" in the manual. As it means that Alien teams tend to be smaller, but with better players.

    (Note : I said "Tend" so plz don't rant about your skills as Marines. I promise I wasn't out to get you. Except in a Claws-meet-face kind of way <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> )

    This is a hard one to give a straight answer to. I will say Marines. An unorganized marine team will lost to an unorganized alien team.

    But a moderatly organized marine team will defeat an unorganized Alien team.

    But two well organized teams will have a very good game, *that* is where the balance that alot of people think we don't have comes in.

    Organization and team work wins games.

    Shockwave - I agree with you. I've seen a trend since the game came out for alien teams to be getting better and better, while marine teams seem to be getting worse. All the good players are being aliens and preying on the marine n00bs. It would help if the aliens were stuck with more n00bs. I don't see that being a marine is that much easier to pick up than being an alien anyway.     I think it's premature to guess about this stuff. It's pretty apples-to-oranges in the comparison department.

    As it is now, the Kharaa can have players go rambo more effectively than the marines can, but getting everyone pointed in the right direction requires a bit more of everyone being on the ball, rather than having everyone simply follow orders. It's a more communist kinda playstyle, less dictator-like. The marines need players who can relate strongly with the commander (if the commander isn't bad), and the aliens need players who can relate with every other alien to some degree.

    I'm always trying to get Alien co-ordination. Like encouraging people to lure marines, but they never do it, they just sit there lobbing spikes/webs/rockets whatever, until the marines beat them down.

    I'm practically crying by the end of it... like "IF YOU'D JUST **obscenity** STOP FOR 1 MINUTE, THOSE MARINES WOULD ALL BE DEAD NOW!!!!" But nope, they just keep spamming those rockets, the marines keep firing their HMG's, and their com keeps dropping health.
