"Incorrect Network Protocol" since gorgeous update

Trying to join a server after a few seconds it cancels the connection giving the message "Incorrect Network Protocol" thus unable to play the game.
Steps I did try to fix but didn't help:
1) Verify game cache via Steam game options
2) Redownload completely
3) Redownload from another mirror
4) Restart Steam
5) Reboot System
I'm in doubt wheter or not you need my system specs for this issue?
