SERVER LIST ISSUE IGNORED? (Repost from General)

Is it just me or is no one addressing the issue of the server list being completely empty again after this last update? Is it just me? Or is there some simple solution In just can't find?

I've:
Re-installed 3 times
Verified after each re-install
Changed in-game settings various times
Been patient and waited for server list to appear
Cursed the heavens, because if god exists he's a bastard for doing this to me

Am I missing something here? Can anyone help with a solution please.

    Can you connect to a server by using the "connect" command in console? If you don't know how or haven't tried, then try hitting "~" to open the console and then typing "connect nlg.ns2servers.com:27015".

    There is a sticky about this very issue.


    Basically if you try to ping the whole world at the same time some ISPs decide to drop your connection briefly because you are flagged as DDOS attacker. You need to go into steam settings and reduce the number of servers listed as shown here:
