Melee and exo crosshair coinciding?

I've been tweaking a custom crosshair pack (Koruyo's Type 2) and it seems that the 9th crosshair is the melee crosshair as well as the exo center part of the crosshair. The crosshairs are all four lines on the top bottom left and right, while the melee crosshairs are dots. But the exo crosshair has an annoying dot in the center of the 4 lines. When I erase the dot in the 9th position of the crosshairs.dds file, the center dot of the exo crosshair disappears, but melee dot crosshairs also disappear. I have deleted all other dots and only the 9th position yields a deletion of the middle dot on the exo crosshair, but it also deletes some melee dot crosshairs. Any thoughts?
