Bug: Parasite?, hitreg?

So, I was parasiting a marine moving from topo to east from the C-12 vent. The parasite hit (or, I KNOW it hit, but it didn't register). Didn't get the +1 message or the effect of a parasite hit. But the marine got the yellow outline from recently taking damage.

Pretty cool stuff.

    The blood, impact sound, hit icon on your crosshair are all client side predicted, if you didn't get the +1 or the combat text damage indicator you did in fact not actually hit the marine. So says the server ;)

    I'm not talking about either of those, though. I'm talking about the outline the marine gets after recently taking damage.

    I could track the marine on the minimap and through the wall going into east junction.

    Also, if I did not hit the marine, there are still issues with hitreg.
