lifeform's energy display is invisible until you start using energy

See title.
After evolving: a lifeform's energy display (bottom right circle) won't show until you do anything that depletes your energy, like use your attack (LMB).

It does not happen always, but in 95% of cases it won't show. Happens reproducible in games, explore mode.

I believe this is intended, just like how the health meter disappears when your health isn't changing.

It is indeed, however maybe have it on all the time as an option would be best. I've heard more people ask about this...

It disappears? Never noticed that. When does it disappear exactly?
Sounds more like a similar bug to me :p

For clarification, it's only missing after an evolve before you first use any energy. Haven't noticed anything later in the game, but of course I never looked for it specifically.

It's working as intended if it goes away when you are at full energy and health. The alien HuD only shows up when you either take damage, use energy or are evolving. It goes invisible once more when you're fully healed up and have full energy.

Same goes for things like ammo packs and med packs on the ground. They aren't highlighted until you need them.
Helps cut down on the UI clutter.
An option is always best, though, i would agree.
