Can i manually change my resolution to 1920 x 1080

I've forced one of my monitors into 1920x1080, and have since had alot of problems converting games to 1920x1080, Any easy way to do it?

run "%appdata%\Natural Selection 2"
open up system_options.xml and have at it :P (<x-resolution> and <y-resolution>)

I've never edited a XML document before..... How do i edit it once i have it open >.<

I think XML files open in IE by default. You want to open it in a text editor, like notepad. Then just change the values and save.
The value you need to change is found between the two tags. <x-resolution>1920</x-resolution>
