The Flashlight?

<div class="IPBDescription">Huh?</div> Someone explain this to me..
Whenever I press the flashlight key it ends up shining a beam at the wall, seems when somebody else does it, it creates a halo of light around them...this may sound like a n00b Q, but ive been playing for quite a while yet never figured this out.

It's like that for all HL mods. Not EXACTLY sure why they chose to do this, but it might cause some unnecessary server cpu usage if they did it realistically.

With my monitor you wont need a flashlight, its ony 60% brightness and i can see aliens in the dark easyily.

yes SBV you can gama tweak you moniter to cheat (well exploit) but then again you also blow up your monitor <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'>

yes pumping brightness up will make you monitor fry much faster <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'>
