<div class="IPBDescription">Post good games here.</div> Like that topic where all the playtesters posted stories of good times, ive decided to make one for everyone to post good games, well here goes.
The game had just started on ns_eclipse, we planned a rush and all met at the doors to the marine base. I counted to 3 and we rushed in, luckily for them they had just put up a 2nd turret. As the swarm of skulks rushed in they were picked off 1 by 1 by the marines and sentry turrets, we managed to take out a few marines but we had lost most of our team, Me and another teammate managed to survive, we ran back to the door we came through and hid on the roof.
Someone had built a sensory chamber now, we quickly ran to the generator and got the cloaking upgrade then went back to the door and cloaked. We were only cloaked at stage 1 when our first victim approached. He didnt see us as he ran past, my teammate jumped down and bit him and another marine shot at him from the door. He ran around the corner, the marine gave chase and i jumped down to feed on him.
Now we had stage 3 cloaking, but also the marines were attacking, we ran to the horseshoe and claoked in the vent peering out of it. 3 Marines came, they starting building a resource node and i jumped down with my teammate and attacked. Bad news for us, they had someone covering them and he managed to take us both out.
I had enough resources to become a lerk, and i did. I decided to scout out alone, i got to the generator hive and cloaked on the ledge of a generator and watched to my horror 5 marines building a base, we had the eclipse command hive, about 30 metres away from this outpost. I reported the outpost to my teammates but they just ignored it and continued what they were doing. I went down stairs to get some food and when i came back the hive had been killed and i was the only one left. Great. I flew to the past over to the doorway dodging the fire of the turrets from the outpost then i flew to the Maintence Hive meeting no aliens on the way, i went gorge and cloaked in a corner and waited.
I had 80 resources now and began making the hive when i heard a marine say, Follow Me. I de-evolved into a skulk and got ready for battle. The marines were coming from the ladder way. They started aiming at the hive when i ran in and chomp chomp, both died.
Well to cut a long story short the hive got built we made deefences got the computer core hive and ended up winning.
