I'm actually looking forward to this, assuming my state doesn't ban them for use while driving. Having the map as a HUD would be very nice, likewise glancing at a text without taking eyes off the road, and being able to respond via voice without having to fiddle with my phone. Other uses... not so much, but those two right there make it awesome already. Add in a way to record flying my model helicopters from the ground without needing a second person, and it's totally worth it.
Real concern is more how to deal with the social etiquette of interacting while wearing it, as you can't really take it off if you wear glasses and have it hard-mounted to the earpiece. They may need to include a snap-over 'lens cap' for social situations where recording/taking pictures would be frowned-upon.

It still reminds me of this, not snap on but still protruding in front of your glasses and super fashionable...
