Authentication/Timeout, is there no fix?

I've gone through the fixes that've been scattered through the interwebs but I'm still having problems with authentication/timeout.

Seems like a lot of reliable #?

The problem is definitely somehow with my router because I've connected to servers just fine using other routers.

Is there a known fix? I've done a lot of 'fixing' but none of it has worked.

    Router model and network setup/configuration? (i.e. wireless, multiple computers, modem type, ISP etc)
    Did you try connecting straight to the modem to see if you have the same issue?
