White profile picture

I was wondering if this may be a bug or if I'm doing something wrong. Whenever I start up NS2 for the first time. my profile picture is white. If I restart NS2 my profile picture appears as usual. Overall not a big issue, but I would like to know if anyone has a fix for this. I read somewhere once upon a time that it was a linking issue.

I get the same thing too. Might be a bug.

I get that since release.
It's not a showstopper, won't hurt your gameplay...but the quickest way to fix it, is to go to the Mods-menu and hit Restart.

It happens sometimes the game won't load the avatar image from steam.

Does the steam avatar get cached at all? I would assume something along those lines could fix this as I believe this happens when NS2 has issues querying your steam profile.

Same here on the day's first load up of NS2, but after the first game, when I go back to the main menu, it's back. Just another bug, but fortunately its harmless

I actually wouldn't care if it was just the picture, but when I try to get into a svr, it tells me I think an authentication error. I'll do a double check on it to be sure cause the last time I tried entering a svr with it white was in January probably lol.
