Build 251: Keep losing Player sounds

Just played my first match (Aliens) in build 251. During the match i kept losing the Player sounds, then all i heard were the ambient map sounds.

The first time it happened i was playing as Skulk and was slowly killed by a sentry. The more damage i took the sound blurred as usual,
but then when i died and respawned i only heard map/ambient sounds and no Players / growling / shooting / jumping etc sounds at all.

Then the next time i respawn sounds were back for a while and then suddenly cut out again.

Anyway, its an alt-tab bug that has been around for quite some time. Not sure what causes it.

Hmm well then I am not sure. I get it occasionally after alt-tabbing for a extended period of time. Usually, I had to quit and relaunch NS2 to fix the problem.

Anything in your console (~ key) or log.txt when this happens?
Next time you experience it.. quit ns2 immediately and attach the zip file made from your techsupport.exe which is found in your NS2 install folder.
    Thanks

    I forgot to check the log.txt :(
I will add the .zip if it happens again. Last night i played a few more matches and everything was fine.

I can say with certainty though that i has to do with the moment you die, after taking a lot of damage, when the gamesounds are low pass filtered.

Joined a match, Aliens, Spawned as Skulk, ran around a bit, sound gone again.

    Zip attached.
