Is the problem of only full/empty servers showing up being looked into?

Just wanted to make a thread about this AGAIN because right now I want to play and all the servers are either full or empty. I'm not the kind of dedicated player who jumps into an empty server in the hopes that more come.
Are the devs looking at some kind of in game chat lobby or Looking For Game match-making system? Here in Aus it is literally IMPOSSIBLE to find a server that isn't either empty or full during peak hours.
