HUGE (20-30 second) freezes when interacting with armory

Every time I buy something from the armory that replaces my primary weapon, or the first time I buy an accessory item (grenades, mines, welder) my game completely freezes for 20 to 30 seconds. If I buy an exosuit, i get kicked to main menu and told that my files don't match the servers.
