Classical 249 Mod for 254
I've updated my 249 mod for version 254 now.

--- What is the classical mod?
For all those who joined recently to the game, its basically a mod with the old gameplay style from version 249 and before.
As the development has gone on, ns2 has changed a lot of things in its gameplay, and a lot of it weren't anyway bad before - just different.
So a whole lot of different gameplay tactic and style changed in the time, and everyone who wants to play it can give it a try with my mod.
Some, but not all, of the differences in 249:
-Alien movement and techtree (no biomass)
-Alien buildings are auto-built (without drifters)
-Alien drifters are cloaked and used as scouts
-Alien upgrades where all researched by the hive under evolutions
-Alien traits were directly researched on a veil/shell/spur (one researched the full power of that trait)
-Alien cloak (before 249 version) worked different than the current, granted by camo trait giving better stealth.
-Marines had stronger Exo's
-Marine Armor was repaired by Armorys.
-Marines needed a second base for Prototype Lab.
-Marine research & techtree (Weapon research and pre's- for buildings)
In conclusion i can say there are now a lot of differences already between 249 and the version right now, almost the complete balance changed in that time, some abilities got reworked and some new added so you play a lot different game, especially if you go alien stealth.
The Mod has still some bugs with some shader changes from version 254 that i'll fix in the next days. If you find any bugs not listed on the workshop page please post em here or on the workshop side - thanks!

why are you people not even bothering to try and move forward in a way thats mature and sensible?
The game is called natural selection, not personal selection.
we're meant to evolve with the game, or fall behind in the arms race, you sir, have fallen behind.
